Faculty Initiatives on Teaching and Learning:
2019-20
Student Centric teaching methods such as role play, live projects, quiz, case study, group discussion are used by faculties for teaching. Visit to the Port was done with the objective of providing better understanding of international trade. Retail Mela,, talk by industry experts on subject related topics have been conducted by the faculty. In order to enhance teaching learning ICT enabled classrooms are available.
2018-19
To improve student learning, the faculties have used various pedagogical tools like flipped classroom, Moodle, taking visits to various places relevant to their subjects. Visits to SEBI, RBI, Labour Court, Getting experiential learning through visits in Shopping Mall, giving live projects to students like visit to dharavi, rural market, visits to NGO, etc. Also, events like Retail Mela, talk by industry experts on subject related topics have been conducted by the faculty.
2017-18
Through participation in various live projects for organization like BEST, use of power point presentations, video, role play, talks by industry experts etc are used to improve student learning. Faculties have developed cases as well as used cases from Emerald, Ivey etc. The details of which are available in criteria 4. Visits to SEBI, RBI, Labour Court, getting experiential learning through visits in Shopping Mall, giving live projects to students like visit to dharavi, rural market, visits to NGO, etc. are regularly done by faculties.
2016-17
Using power point presentations, videos, guest lectures, the faculty is contributing towards the student learning. Visits to SEBI, RBI, Labour Court, getting experiential learning through visits in Shopping Malls etc. have been done. Case study is another teaching technique used by faculties
