To fulfil the requirements of stakeholders such as students, start-ups, institutions, investors and government bodies promoting entrepreneurship by acting as a catalyst /facilitator.

Government bodies can avail the opportunities and the platform from various schemes . Investors will be able to identify and offer products and service to start-ups and innovators.
Existing and would be entrepreneur can get the opportunity to learn from the best under reality ,seek guidance ,mentorship as well as funding incubation and ancillary support.
Educational institution can take advantage from workshops ,seminars and other learning support to be evolved by ISEC.
ISEC (Innovation Start-Up Entrepreneurship Centre)
To foster innovation and entrepreneurial mind-set amongst students and to create a platform that encourages an entrepreneurial mind-set amongst students, ISEC cell has been formed from 2018-2019 under the guidance of director sir Dr. D.Y. Patil. The objectives of ISEC are

Under ISEC Government bodies can avail the opportunities and the platform from various schemes. Investors will be able to identify and offer products and service to start-ups and innovators, Existing and would be entrepreneur can get the opportunity to learn from the best under reality, seek guidance, mentorship as well as funding incubation and ancillary support, Educational institution can take advantage from workshop, seminars and other learning support to be evolved by ISEC.
ISEC Details in the Academic year 2019 –20
GNIMS joined hands with IIT-Kharagpur for Entrepreneurship Awareness Drive (EAD) which was organized tomorrow Saturday, 05th Oct 2019 from 10:00 am onwards.
INNOTHON is an annual contest organized by Bombay Management Association (BMA) for its management student members. It allows students to work on real-world business challenges. Under this competition, a team of four to five students work as consultants to the sponsoring corporate supported by a faculty advisor and BMA-appointed industry experts. From GNIMS, nine teams participated in the year 2019-20. Out of which one team got the second runner up position under the guidance of Dr. Mrinal Phalle. Two teams under the guidance of Dr. Sushma Patil and Dr. Mrinal Phalle got the extended project from ACC Logistics and ACC sales respectively.
Guru Nanak Institute of Management Studies invited Prof. Ravishankar as an External Resource Person to undertake sessions for valuable contribution in preparing MMS & PGDM students for Bombay Management Association (BMA) INNOTHON 2.0.He was also requested to guide four teams working on problem statement of ACC sales & Logistics.
10X Scale up Conclave 2.0 at World Trade Centre, Centrum Hall January 18, 2020- GNIMS was the knowledge partner for the same. Faculties and students of ISEC committee attended the event.
Association of Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs Business Conclave Navi Mumbai “Emerge 2020 Redefining the Business Canvas- GNIMS was the knowledge partner for the same. Faculties of ISEC committee attended the event.

Launch of Innovation Startup Entrepreneurship centre (ISEC) on 8th September 2018
