The Guru Nanak Institute of Management Studies (GNIMS) held a successful campus recruiting campaign on January 16, 2024, setting a new standard for pairing talented graduates with reputable companies like ITC. They were looking for specialists in the fields of sales and marketing. The recruitment drive commenced with a comprehensive presentation about ITC Company, highlighting its history, vision, values, and various business verticals. Following the presentation, interactive sessions were conducted to engage with the students and address any queries they had regarding job roles, career progression, and organizational culture. These sessions facilitated meaningful interactions between the company representatives and the students. Candidates who met the eligibility criteria underwent technical assessments tailored to evaluate their skills and competencies relevant to the job roles offered by ITC Company. These assessments aimed to assess the candidates' technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and aptitude for the desired roles. Shortlisted candidates from the technical assessments participated in the group discussion round and twenty individuals were selected for further consideration based on their communication skills, presentation skills and alignment with ITC's core values. The marketing knowledge and enthusiasm of GNIMS students impressed recruiters, demonstrating the institute's commitment to produce workforce-ready individuals. Overall, the campus recruitment drive for ITC Company was a resounding success, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the recruitment team, CDC team, and student placement committee. The event not only facilitated the identification of top talent but also strengthened the company's employer brand and commitment to nurturing future leaders.
