Induction Programme for MMS Batch 2019-21

MMS Batch 2019-21 was inaugurated on Tuesday, 17th  Sept, 2019 with the addressal of our Director Dr.D.Y. Patil. He addressed the students about the dynamic environment of today’s management, history of the institute, its memories and basic discipline. 

Students were also addressed and greeted by our Faculty – in – charge Prof. Kapil Bhopatkar – Finance, Dr. Jyotinder Kaur – Marketing, Prof. Unmesh Alawani – Operations and Prof. Imran Sidiqui – Human Resource. They introduced respective specialization faculties and spoke about specializations, This was followed by the addressal of CDC Head Mr. Suresh Patil about overall placement scenario and organizations who visited institute for placement. He spoke about the kind of a mindset and basic discipline required by the students for the course.

Students were addressed by Honorable Chief Guest Ms. Nalini Gupta Managing Director, Lotus Aero Enterprises, GSA Costa Cruise,  India.. Ms. Nalini Gupta interacted with students about today’s corporate world and their expectations at the grass root level. She also explained about competencies required from an MBA student irrespective of all specializations i.e. Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations or Information Technology.

Post lunch MMS second year students presented small documentary on “LIFE AT GNIMS” through which they shared their journey with GNIMS as well as there was a addressal of Ms. Shraddha Amdoskar student of MMS second year Marketing regarding formation and participation of different houses which includes cultural house, management games house, photography house, drama house and ISR house. Those students from MMS Second Year who undergone foreign internship also shared their experience with new students.

Last session was of Dr. Sameer Salunkhe (Class Coordinator of MMS) in which Students Handbook was explained in detail. It helps students to know culture, basic rules and regulations of the institute.
