A celebration of Talent

SGPC’s Guru Nanak Institute of Management Studies organized their inter-collegiate annual management and cultural festival ‘VIRSA’15’ from February 28 to March 01, 2015. The theme for this year’s event was ‘Bombay to Mumbai’.

On the first day, inter-collegiate management event, sports activities and fashion show were held followed by DJ Wars sponsored by DJ Alex. The star cast of the Bollywood film, Badmashiyaan graced the event. Prasanna Soparkar, MD, Core Integra Consulting Services inaugurated the event.

The intra-cultural events were held on the second day. The special guests for this day were Vikas Sawant of India’s Dancing Superstar fame and Anita Vallala, Partner associate, Genesis Burson-Marsteller. The NGO invited was Annamrita – Iskcon Food Relief Foundation while the schools invited were Our Lady of Good Counsel High School, Sion and Holy Cross Convent, Special School. The students of the former performed Lezim dance at the inauguration while the student from Holy Cross Convent Special School students gave a performance on the Cultural Day.
